We are pleased to announce that the Granny Rose K-9 Enrichment Center will be starting to reopen our facility while following the guidelines set forth for Phase Four by the Restore Illinois Plan.
For the safety of our visitors and staff, the following guidelines will be in effect as of July 6th, 2020.
We will begin offering group classes again the week of July 6th, 2020. Private Classes will be available as well, please contact us to set up an appointment.
Only one class will be occurring at the Center at a time. Classes will be limited to no more than 6 dogs per class. Each dog may have only one handler. No other family members or spectators will be allowed inside the Center at this time.
Students should wait in their cars or outside in the parking lot/outside potty area until their trainer lets them know that they are ready to come in. Social distancing should be maintained. Students will be allowed in the Center approximately 5 minutes before the start of class. This will allow the class prior to them to exit the building, and staff members to disinfect and clean surfaces between classes.
All visitors must wear face masks. No masks will be provided, visitors must have their own. Face masks must be worn properly and cover both nose and mouth.
Upon entering the center, visitors will be asked to use hand sanitizer, and will have their temperature checked with a digital forehead thermometer. Anyone with a fever over 100 degree F will be asked to reschedule immediately.
All visitors are asked to stay 6 feet or further away from other individuals at all times.
All visitors will be asked if they are experiencing any flulike symptoms including cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, or gastrointestinal issues (such as nausea, vomiting or diarrhea). They will be asked if they have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive to COVID-19. Visitors will be asked to refrain from visiting and to reschedule if they have/are experiencing illness or have been in contact with someone whom they know to be ill.
All visitors will sign in and confirm that they have not experienced symptoms and have not been in close contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms or known to be ill. All visitors will read through these guidelines and sign to confirm that they understand and will follow all written and verbal instructions as given by Granny Rose Animal Shelter Staff.
Thank you for helping us to follow the guidelines set forth by law for Phase Four of the Restore Illinois Plan. We look forward to seeing you and your dog!
